It's called "Buy on Bashing".   Essentially when those who show up claiming the SP will go down etc (calling Timber etc) those folks are desperate to buy the shares, that's why they bash. If somone else buys those shares first then the basher is stuck having to pay more for them. IMHO the majority of those who bash simply sold short and they are concerned an upward ...more
