$57 billion industry.. yet stocks are all decimated.

and Canopy Growth Canadian Licensed Producer held a marketcap of over $22 billion.

Canopy hit that marketcap shortly after Constellation Brands STZ put up $5 billion to own shares of Canopy.

Canopy was the Canadian leading potpreneur with a tail to snout owning a bit of everything pot that was legal and also a leader in launching the beverage skus which is why I thought Constellation wanted in in the first place, to round out their offerings to include cannabinoid infused beverages via Canopy by riding on their knowledge, state of the art bottling line with built in over-capacity.

It wasn't just Constellation but a slurry of beer and light alcohol companies also put serious effort in to studying on this as the new vice that promised to eat a good portion of soft alcohols market share.

I don't know what happened because they all seemed to put this effort on the back burner and under Constellation's guidance, Canopy mothballed our facility despite it's promise of success.

Potpreneurs and politicians endorsed this effort for cannabinoid infused beverages with the same enthusiasm as dead fish.

Constellation could have done this themselves for US soil without Canopy but Canopy had a head start.

Constellation took another hard look at the books of Canopy and decided that they overpaid and that the marketcap was way too much but continued to buy enough to take control of the voting shares while continuing to point out that all pot stocks were overpriced, even the brands that they were looking at.

Clear to me that they were picking up access to these brands at firesale prices.

Canopy had a deal that was valued at over $3 billion to take over Acreage Holdings for the US footprint but Constellation convinced them that Acreage was in tough enough shape that they would queer the deal and renegotiate it, which they did and they contributed heavily to Acreage's decline in marketcap by allowing Murphy the politician who put Acreage together and his cronies to milk the cash out of the company and to take it even further put John Boehner and Brian Mulroney on the payroll for $13 million each for cameo appearances to promote a company in deep decline.

To me, it seems that Constellation turned into back door bandits by driving the value of these two companies down instead of up like most management of integrity should do.

Everytime we got close to black ink, something popped up and it cost both these companies sharevalue and sent the smart investors to the door while others, like myself, believed that these were still investments of good potential and the trend would turn back to the good old days.

I still beleive that there will be a US greenrush but have serious concerns about how much damage has been done by Constellation's hard core management who came up with the idea of recouping overpaying by tanking the companies until they had control.

US legalization is held up by fear because the black market controls the pot business in the US and they play hardball and will kill to control profits,. That will take the initiative out of politicians like Schumer and the others who talk pro pot but don't walk the talk.

.

Team Klein has deliberately put us here and if they took it too far and this tanks will still be the receivors of the best that is left of the Canadian leader.

The US will get there one State at a time, less deadly that way to politicians and there will be a couple of very happy moneymen that will capitalize on all that Canopy was and the promise of all of the Acreage MSO potential and distributors.

They have also secured Wanna, Jetty, Stors and Bickell, Tweed and other hot brands for the US launch of all that potential that Canopy built but without all of those pesky shareholders who are being tricked out of their shares by sharks without conscience.

I promised myself that I would stay clear of deals that I don't understand and this has morphed in to that, despite my objections.

I am invested in a half dozen others that just milked the money out of their asset and walked away from even doing the basics to keep the listing, like filing reports and they were my best choices after doing my due diligence

Keep in mind that our securities people are understaffed, overworked or in conivance with these sharks.

At least the Cartels get straight to it and their message is clear.

These convoluted and confusing deals that these guys are doing are so bad that even they don't understand how they are going to shake out.

The only shakeout is the honest investors left to hold our empty bags.

I can see why that justice seeker had his way with the pharma ceo in NY city.

glta and sorry about the Gremlined post.
