Sellers Way Too Cautious

WEF is real company with infrastructure and assets. If it goes down it will be slower. You have a buffer of big gains. It’s not  just an idea like some hi tech outfits with only an idea and dreams.

I've done well already...........I'd much rather walk down the mountain than get pushed off the cliff. I've been extremely overweight in the resource sector, particularly copper miners. Time to free up some cash for the inevitable pull back. With lumber, it's about supply issues. With copper, it's about both supply destruction as well as demand due to green energy, EV's and ...more

The DEMAND for lumber is an essential commodity and not just trading commodity.   Lumber is needed in all facets of the economy.  essential for building of funeral caskets, home construction framing, wooden flooring, furniture , decks  and fences, kitchen cabinets, doors and countless other uses.   Until the demand decreases and builders and other essential users ...more

I don't expect much gain in inventories anytime soon. In my part of the world, there are much fewer sawmills running than there use to be in the 1990's to mid 2000's. Many went under in the last cycle due to prolonged low prices followed up by the 2008 collapse of the US banks. Even now with high lumber prices, many of the mills that survived are not running due to empty mill yards ...more
