Im glad Windy made some nice money selling at $1.80, but we wont see him/her around if they wait for 25 cents. Lol. As for ferret and share buybacks they should open their eyes. Companies report what is best for them and twist it around to make investors happy and open their eyes. Earnings per share is never a high-light. EBITDA, earnings/profit and dividends are what you see for a reason. I don ...more

I would agree that's the case for most stocks, but NOT for commodity stocks which of course WEF is, they don't have control over the prices they receive for their products and are basically at the whim of commodity traders these days. ( they have very limited control  thru some hedging etc.) I highly doubt you'll see wef increase it's divy this q, but hey I've been wrong ...more

the other thing about share buybacks I forgot to mention is the fact that they are limited to what they can buy back on an anual and daily basis so the y can't get too st u pid doing buybacks. a 5% limit is very reasonable imho. I'll take a nice special divy anytime though, haha. anyhoooo  lumber is not a good place to be invested right now.
