Q4 Release on 17 Feburary. 2021 YTD Earnings of $0.47/share

2021 has seen a dramatic upturn for Western Forest Products with earning per share of $0.47 in the first three quarters.

Release of Q4 results should show even farther imporovement as lumber prices continued to rise through Q4 and with buy back of 5.7 million shares in December.  WEF will be paying out a quaterly dividend of $0.01.

I estimate $0.13 eps for Q4 putting WEF at $0.60 total EPS for the full year. Will WEF achieve that again 2022? Highly dependent on lumber prices remaining high and the old growth outcome and impacts on log supply. Should be interesting to see where the stock price goes if they can maintain 2021 performance.

Once Q4 comes in I would put eps for the year at $0.70 based on the fact that lumber prices rose steeply through Q4 and WEF has been doing buy backs reducing the total number of shares. Buy backs are the right move,  it inceases the value of the remaining shares.

Buy Backs ONLY WORK WELL if the Buy Back MORE THAN all the NEW SHARES Issued to Management/Insiders for BONUS PAY and OPTIONS
