Firstworld….also recall the divvy used to be higher in the not so distant past.  It would be great if the buybacks helped increase the SP it does not seem to be providing the bang for the buck spent for whatever reason.  Perhaps its time to switch strategy of rewarding shareholders and increase the divvy?  I fully agree that WEF could be a great take over target if there is industry ...more

the company is in much better shape now,  WEF has bought and canceled almost 100 million shares since 2017,,, inflation is starting to role over,  lumber prices rising, im guessing they will increase the dividend soon

STEVE FROSTBACK ..STILL YOU GUYS DID NOT ANSWER WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN GREAT EVEN WHEN THE OTHERS ARE WAY UP...THESE GUYS OWN PROPERTY THAT IS OCEAN FRONTS SOME THAT CAN BE DEVELOPED..WOTH MILLIONS.....JUST GET NEW DEALS FROM BUYERS I WANT TO HEAR...BIG LUMBER DEALS ETC OR BUY OUT...

yes i agree, WEF should be trading closer to the 52 week high maybe even an all time high !!! considering the dividend, the shares bought and canceled from cash made from profits, the fact that the TSX is bassicly sitting 10 % off its all time high,,,,thats why i loaded up here because WEF is way undervalued by my caculations

also a 54 year low in unemployment 3.4 percent and 517000 jobs added in january,,,seems like a strong economy to me
