Comment by Apaulson on Aug 19, 2024 1:45pm
Haha..... you have no idea what you're doing. Those bids don't mean shat until the end of the day on this stock. Did you ever why all the volume is most often at the start and close for Wef?

Average trading volume for WEF is 426,000. Today's volume was 300,000. Are you having a hard time understanding that? Ended in the red like I said. Relying onisecondary bids for a low priced share like WEF is pretty stupid. Just like stinks bid after hours. haha but keep thinking they mean much.
Comment by Patriarch on Aug 19, 2024 6:11pm
Red deer he is a rookie. He doesn't know about dark pool volume.  The actual volume today was near a million. I already told the masterdebater I wouldn't engage him any longer as I don't suffer fools.  In any event I added another 125 k in shares at 45.5.  My average price now is just under 60 cents. And for analysis purposes, it doesn't tell you anything because it's just institutional trading to clients. You're grasping at straws. Keep holding for a bigger capital loss. Ended in red so what does that tell you pube?
Comment by Apaulson on Aug 19, 2024 8:30pm
It obviously doesn't mean shat and you two are too dumb to realize it. dumb and dumber
Comment by froghorn on Aug 20, 2024 4:51pm

@Froghorn - he can't explain it.  He doesn't know what he's talking about.  He's a rookie pube, Froghorn.

down cause of work stoppage on railroads.
Comment by lnggasfor202324 on Aug 21, 2024 3:09pm
Wef ships their wood mainly to Japan by ships.  I'm pretty sure their western red cedar would be trucked ot to the lower mainland then maybe by railroad to the USA.
Comment by firstgrowth99 on Aug 21, 2024 7:53pm
YES THEY USE SHIP TO SEND THE WOODTO CHINA JAPAN OTHER COUNTRIES..BUT THEY ALSO PUT WOOD IN CONTAINERS AND NOT FOR SURE BUT THOSE GO ON RAIL ROADS FOR A BIT THEN TO SHIPS..BARGE CONTAINER THEN TRUCKED OR RAILROAD...

You need to locate the caps lock button on your keyboard. It's usually on the far left side of the keyboard about mid way down from the top. Sell your holdings, buy back when it hits $0.25, grampa. haha

And did you ever think why the TMX, the media, major analysts, etc. don't consolidate the secondary market volume in with the TSX when they discuss volume?  Because it's irrelevant and it would be misleading.....just like you and your comments. haha

""Because it's irrelevant and it would be misleading...."" Hey PaulSon__Do Let ALL of US Know Why the Secondary Market Trading is IRRELEVANT. 1. That's the reason for those exchanges. If the institutions had traded them on TSX, the increased volume could have incorrectly signaled to the market there was higher interest than there actually was. This was just institutional trading between themselves for the most part. 2. WEF's relative performance was in line with other forestry stocks that day despite the increased volume you ...more

Hey PaulSon__My POINT Was ONLY that the TSX Quoted Volume is OFTEN MISLEADING Like When YOU Posted that ONLY 300K HAD Traded on the19th eh!
Comment by Apaulson on Aug 23, 2024 4:03pm
You still don't get it. The tsx volume was not misleading. 300k shares traded hand while the average daily trading volume on the tsx for Wef is around 425k. I said it was low volume which it was. below average by 30% is low. you tried to mislead everyone by trying to add in secondary markets which no sensible person would do if they knew what the purpose of secondary markets are. good try ...more

""you tried to mislead everyone by trying to add in secondary markets which no sensible person would do if they knew what the purpose of secondary markets are."" That's actually wrong.  It's not for cheaper trading fees.  It's to avoid institiutions affecting the price. It's misleading to say there is increased volume, which you tried to do.  Everyone just quotes the TSX.  You are lone bonehead dwelling on secondary markets. But good try.

Wrong, the primary objective is not to incorrectly affect price because if it did, the buying and selling between institutions would increase the share price and cost artificially to them. For example, the vision for TSX Alpha is to keep retail flow within Canada’s borders by enabling a hypothetical 5,000-share order to trade in one piece, at low cost and with little market impact. “ This is ...more

You made the erroronous claim bud.  by the way, WEF is down 3.25% this week when most other forestry stocks are up 4-5%. That increased volume you highlighted must have been people selling, which I believe is the opposite of what you were trying to convince people of. The trend is to sell. Higher than average volume, drop in price, the trend is obviously down according to your logic. Haha ...more
