Floor formed.
We need to wait for pop. It will come. Let interest rate cuts take hold. Doesn't happen over night. Patience. I'm slowly building at 43 and 44 cents. Even caught some at 42.5.

That's the point. Same old story. Cyclical sticks are same old story. Let the plot play out. Patience.

Rate reductions usually come into real world effect 3 to 6 months after cuts commenced. As the rate cutting cycle amplifies, the degree of stimulation grows relative to the depth of the cuts. If cuts continue into next year the effects will continue 3 to 6 months thereafter. The good thing is that the market usually sniffs these events out and anticipatorily reacts to same.

Cdn building permits rose 22.1 %m/m in July. Slowly but surely. Let the rate cuts run their course. Lumber will pop. Always has and always will.
