volume

Low volume has been puzzling to me.  Yesterday 554,794 shares traded.  Lots of commentary on the board here about price action, but to me volume is key.  Once we start getting significant volume the share price will move up quickly.  To get the big volume we need the big buyers, the institutions.  Although we have many analysts promoting the stock with some decent short term targets, that does not necessarily translate into institutional buying.  As others have stated here, we perhaps need to build up a record of consistent performance and earnings.  Ultimately that will be irresistable for the big funds.  But the idea of a big institution looking at us and saying: "digitalization and modernization of health care, great idea, let's buy" - not happening.  There are too many players in the field and there is a sense that demand will not continue after pandemic is under control.  So what we need is a good history of significant earnings and stability.  That will bring the institutions, which will bring the volume, which will drive the price up.

While I am very bullish on the company and like the CEO's reputation/style...shareholders can't afford to hang around for ever waiting for a trend to change. Too much opportunity cost associated with such loyalty...Next year interest rates will start to go ...more
