Started a Position

Very small, but encouraged by the stall in the stock price fall . Looking for a bounce. Their last quarterly was uninspiring IMO.

Based on the report and outlook, it shows flatsh top line and therefore no obvious path to profitability.

Why should an investor stick around?

Flat top line? You sure you're talking about the same company? Q3 2020 - 12 246 Q4 2020 - 17 189 Q1 2021 - 25 560 Q2 2021 - 61 793 Q3 2021 - 99 291 They also hinted at Q4 2021 - 112 000 Their net loss also includes stock based compensation charges of $9.4M, Time-based earn-out expenses of $1.3M, and Transaction/integration costs of $1.8M. While the stock based compensation charges are $9 ...more

My thoughts as well Capharnaum.  As for "top-line growth" its anything but "flatish" and we have a stellar record, over the past three years, something like 78 per cent on average per year I believe.  And coming into this years topline growth,  Analysts tracking WELL Health expect sales to touch $298 million in 2021 and rise by 63.4% to $488 million in 2022. So ...more

But I thought management don't take any salary and work for free according to some here.  Lol.  People will believe anything.  All smoke and mirror.  Investors should never  take management numbers as gospel.  You will never make money thinking like an analyst.  Cheers.

Thanks Capharnaum, for laying out the quarterly revenues. Numbers are only going higher quarter, after quarter, after quarter. All the while, Hamed not taking a single dollar in salary. In fact, he has put in cash in the business at every equity financing. Literally paying out of his own pocket to be working at WELL! I'm sure you will be returned many fold. The road to $200MM per quarter is ...more

So u see a clear path from 100M per Q to 1B per Q & don't see hurdles. There is no way that Well can achieve this with organic growth even in 10 years. For inorganic growth of this scale, where do you think the money will come from? Borrowing, equity issue or both.  Borrowing cost is increasing. Equity if u raise now, will not be at value higher than $3.50 & will push the ...more

Lots of companies succeed by being seria acquirers, take Constellation Software for example.  Now, int terms of going from $100MM per quarter to $1Bn per quarter... 10 years is a long time to get there and with a mixture of organic and inorganic growth, the company definitely can.  For organic, the company has several growth engines, the one I continue to highlight is Circle Medical ...more

Very long reply/comment. Everyone thinks his company is going to b next Amazon & everyone should have 20+ years time to prove. if there are few successful example of serial acquirer, there r plenty of failure. Cannibas industry in Canada is a living example. Everyone wanted to be top 5 canabbIs company in world & everyone buying everything under the Sun & in grow house. We now know ...more

This is an act.  You are not for real.  Nobody can be this dumb.

hrgoyal said:  "Hardly any company ever succeed by being serial acquirer."   That's absolute bunk.  Most of the leading tech companies of today have been serial acquirers, from microsoft, to google, to facebook and everything in between.  Look at the history of leading tech companies.  WELL is an acquisitive company and it owns companies who are ...more

All big tech companies of today r big because the sucess of their first product. Google started as search engine. Never acquired any search engine. Became dominant search engine. Made billions & then diversified & in that process made some acquisitions.  same with Facebook. How many companies Apple or Amazon acquired & when.
Comment by speedy99 on Jan 30, 2022 12:34pm
On the two select companies you mention, Amazon made its first acquisition 4 year years after it was founded and made more than 27 acqusitions thereafter;  Apple made its first acquisition 12 years after it was founded and made more than 71 acquisitions thereafter. The best comparison is Constellation Software.  Its Canadian, and its especially known for growth by acquisition and every ...more

Just look at the Constellation chart also over 10 years & share never lost 50%+ of its value in one year.  Anyway I understand your point of view. For u the top line matter more than bottom line. For me bottom line is equally important than top line.  Good luck to all those who see Well as next Constellation or Amazon.
Comment by speedy99 on Jan 30, 2022 1:50pm
Of course, and neither did Constellation have the same kind of share price appreciation as WELL over the past three years.  Constellation is in a much more mature phase of its development.  Even so, it had a blow-out year last year with I believe a 40 per cent share price increase, largely attributable to its acquisitions of devalued companies during a bear market in its sector ...more

Hrgoyal, You are not wrong, neither is Speedy99. Top line matters because it indicates the business is growing. Profit will follow, in time. For now, a good indicator for you might be the free cash flows of the business, positive, growing and durable. WELL will continue to grow organically (via investments in subsidiaries such as Circle Medical) and inorganically (via further acquisitions). Both ...more

The lostidiot comes here and try to teach us about WELL in the last month or so.  Just lol.  Once again this guy is a complete moron, just ignore him.  Idiots like him is aplenty and in every board.  Just look at all the garbage stock he pumps that are all losers.  I cringe every time I see this clown post here and he is just completely ruining the board.  Don't ...more

Literally because of his and his clueless talk about 40 year investments and WELL going up 100x, I have lost interest in this chat group. It is just as bad as when others bash the stock without substance.
Comment by bandit69 on Jan 30, 2022 8:28pm
LOL.  WELL is magical though.  They have technology to print their own currency.  Sky is the limit here. ;)
Comment by BigTT13 on Jan 29, 2022 2:32pm
You specifically shouldn't, please sell and move on. You encouraged but the stock is garbage? Why would anyone start a position in a company that they think is flat with no obvious path to profitability. Lol Another unintelligent Troll.

" I'm gonna start a small position in WELL, BUT IT WILL NEVER MAKE MONEY. WOW GREAT REASON. That's a great strategy for picking winners. I'd assume you lost 90% of your principal so far in your past picks. If you want to pick a company that fell far, hoping for a rebound that won't happen try facedrive.FD.V. You won't lose money over long term with WELL, but you will with ...more
