I sold today (and then watched it climb a few cents higher) and maybe that was a bad idea but I'd rather be on the sidelines waiting to get back in if the numbers are good rather than watching it sink if the numbers aren't so good.

If it is a good company that always executes and the price is fundamentally sound than your risk of loss increases the more you trade it. Especially with a volatile stock like this one. We will reach all time highs eventually with time. The more you trade it on the way there, the more likely you are to get it wrong. The opposite is a fools game and essentially a mind trick of paid bashers.
