If there is a deal in the works or an interested party...my guess would be Crescent Point...Acquisition is part of their business strategy and they just completed acquisition of  Cutpick  a Viking oil play near Provost with shares and Crescent Point has significant unutilized credit capacity...just my guess...I just wonder when and if an offer were to come if it would be cash or shares?...will have to wait to see if the 14 th floor "buzzing" will result in a honey of a deal or not...just hope we don't get stung...time will tell...BB28

What would have taken 3 months for due diligence is more than likely going to take 6 months. Any company with money right now knows there are alot of great assets available. The plus with Cresent Point is that they have assets in the viking. I just see a dark cloud over the energy sector right now. I have weathered these storms before. At this point, give me 6.00 and I will hide until its sunny ...more

I second your motion. I still vote for no less than $7. Storm cloud after storm cloud on the horizon, at least we know it wont drop on a dividend cut, and hardly no debt. May have to wait until Keystone gets approval, or Middle East blows up, or the US dollar collapses, and Loonie becomes a "reserve currency" like Australian dollar. Maybe a cat 5 hurricane will take out all the oil rigs ...more
