WFG on duties: chatter on the file?

Comment by Apaulson on Oct 31, 2023 7:49am
Your message that you tried to imbed doesn't seem to be showing. What WFG and all of the other B.C. producers need to do is shut down their mills in B.C. and lay off their employees.  Only then you'll get the attention of Justin Trudeau and Mary Ng so that they'll realize that taking a weak position on this matter has done nothing but harm Canadians.

Thanks for reposting. If we can believe Ray Ferris, then the government and industry is no where closer to reaching a deal. Canada has no merit in negogiating this as the Country is a hyprocrite.  Dairy farmers and the protectionism that they are given has essentially f'ed us over. I used to work in an accounting/tax firm which had a large base of agriculature clients.  I ...more

I heard the same.  That dairy farming is very lucrative in Canada thanks to supply management.  Some farmers have raked in 8 figures throughout their careers.
