Christine Poole -BNN- DON'T BUY

DON'T BUY

Very volatile and cyclical, which she tends not to invest in. In a downturn, these companies can really lose money. Not a long-term growth company. Recent pop may be anticipation of US rate cuts benefiting home sales. Secular housing shortage in both Canada and US.

She's definitely changed her tune....I remember when she was an oil bull some years ago. Different book/risk profile now, different tune. Now it's "don't buy" company X...then lists two reasons supporting a future higher SP scenario. (???) Hey, it's lumber, we get it! It's not pipelines. Everybody needs a little excitement in their lives.
