And so fake. Who sells gold in this environment? $28 trillion debt. $1 trillion added just in the last 5 months. These crooks just want you to think there is no alternative to their precious stock market. Look at the chart action today. DOW goes down, gold goes down. DOW goes up, gold goes up. Yeah right.

If these were normal times, I might expect that rising interest rates to be a drag on gold. However, these aren't normal times. Real inflation is probably higher than CPI. Also, when gold hit a high back in early January 1980, the US Federal Funds Rate was around 13% (give or take), on its way up. So for a while they were both going up. Anyhow, I picked up a few more Wallbridge today.   ...more

GoldFisher22 - I think you did well to pick up some more Wallbridge at this crazy low price. As for inflation and interest rates, inflation is quietly raging and interest rates, "real" interest rates, are in thecircular file. This is a perfect set-up for gold to move up strongly and moreso the shares. If memory serves, an outfit called "Wharf Resources" in the 1976 - 82 ...more
