Don't you think

With surface gold so near and the money running out. Don't you think we should be starting an open pit mine. With an income coming in, there would be no need to raise money for further exploration. It can be done on the income the open pit produces.

They have plenty of money and the full support of the Quebec government. They can open pit Gabbro whenever they want. They are focussing their work force and 11 drills on more sites. Grasset Martiniere Casault Ripley Reaper? They want a permit for a mining camp not a mine. They would lose out on the ability to issue FT shares if they started revenue on the project. This is why they cancelled the small mining permit (Marz mentioned in one of the recent interviews). I never thought WM had the expertise to run such a large operation anyhow. Best thing to do would be to JV the project to a major who could stump up the $200M needed to build out the mine and move on to ...more
