The Ruble and Gold

Russia is pegging the Ruble to Gold , 5000 R to 1 gram of Gold .This may eventually mean Russian oil will be priced in Gold and what would that mean to the US dollar hegemony.

BRIC countries were originally projected to be the fastest-growing market economies by Jim O'Neill of Goldman Sachs in 2001. The Goldman Sachs thesis does not argue that these countries are a political alliance, like the European Union (EU), or a formal trading association. Instead, it asserts they have power as an economic bloc. BRIC countries have not announced formal trade agreements, but leaders regularly attend summits together and often act in concert with one another's interests. It has been postulated that by 2050 these economies would be wealthier than most of the current major economic powers.

I am thinking just three of these nations China India and Russia make up about half the global population

Got to remember Russia and China are allies of sorts , Russia is the worlds third largest oil producer and China is the worlds largest importer . Also they would like nothing more than getting away from the US dollar which would leave them in a bad economic situation with a mountain of debt . I'm not saying this will happen Joanie ...........but maybe , it is possible
