This is concerning. I dont think UBS goes after clients who operate in good faith. I also dont believe WPX has better lawyers than a major world bank.

This could sink this barely a float company. Seems to be the going trend. CEO of small company believes they know best against an entity that does this kind of thing daily.

Thanks WPX team for a thoughtless and financially ridiculous decision. Where is the real news?

Or is this Varas working in the background with UBS to release the shareholders of their shares and give this company to UBS. Leaving us as the bagholders.

Sad and not unbelievable.

Either way, this comes at a bad time. No legitimate news of any progress has come out since water rights were secured from Regina. The company seems content on letting shares drop to 52 week lows and beyond. Maybe they've been on holidays the past year plus? UBS probably decided enough was enough. Anyway, WPX's response, as short as it was, worries me. They'd better speak up in more ...more

A bad time is the understatement of the year.  The real news is there is no news. No money, no offer, no plan, no financing. Varas has hired a number of folks who dont know a thing about promoting or selling a fledgling mine. In this way he can baffle them and undermine all shareholders.
