What is the probability

What do you guys believe the probability of WRK being bought out by another public REIT in the  next 12 months ? Seems like they have things down operationally, great balance sheet, lease maturity and debt expiration schedule, and that their portfolio (80% office) could be a perfect fit for some of the bigger REITs outhere, such as Artis which is mostly in Western Canada and lacking Ontario / QC exposure.

cmq.un has an offer on the table.  caught me by surprise.  I guess the probability is greater than I thought.

Recently a take over offer came out for CMQ.un .. totally out of the blue.Interestingly the price brings the unit value down to around 6%.A similar offer for WRK ( 6% cap) would equate to a price of $18.70!A 7% cap which is what comier is traiding at would be $16.So you can see the potential. Now I am not expecting or even hoping for this to happen. As hard it is to believe, even a 23% increase to  ...more
