Casino vs Snowfield is like Comparing Copper and Gold

Snowfield hosts measured and indicated resources estimated to contain 25.9 million ounces of gold, 1.4 million tonnes of copper.

WRN
14.5Moz of gold in the Measured & Indicated (M&I) category and 6.6Moz of gold in the inferred category in addition to 3,447,302 million tonnes (7.6Bn lbs copper in the M&I.

WRN has 2.43 times more copper
Snowfield has .56 times more gold

Unless you are making an argument, that gold has tremendously more potential than copper, any comparison is lubricous.

Taseko has a reputation of picking up good projects, but with high risk. They are gamblers. New Prosperity was shot down (as Pebble was shot down with another Ronald Thiessen Project named “Pebble”). The Florence project has had some local opposition due to how they were handling their aquifers. The issue seems to be in the process of being resolved. For Taseko’s sake, I hope it does get resolved. But in short, let’s quit bashing each other. I am a previous holder of Yellowhead under its previous owner. I admit it is a project with good potential. But bashing down one’s competitors to build oneself up is not a good way to make a good impression for oneself. Accentuate the positive. Enough for all to go around. Copper will fly. Up in the Yukon, folks support one another, not bash one another. Let's cut out the negativity.

Snowfield was just divesting a non-core asset to pay off outstanding debt. One company was able to clear some debts, and the other company was able to get a discount on an extension. Win-win for both Pretivm and Seabridge, but fail to see the relevance to Casino and its potential. As stated earlier, let's cut out the bashing. One of freelance jobs is as a sales rep for a major corporation. We ...more

I'm not purposefully trying to be "negative"...this isn't a club it's investing/speculation. The market doesn't care about you, me or anyone. My point all along has been to cast doubt on all the high flying guesses as to the buyout price RIO might offer. I contrasted Casino with Snowfield to bring some realism and pragmatism to the dreamers and glassy eyed hope filled ...more

WRN already has more copper reserves calculated in their M&I than almost any of the other top copper mines in the world. The only existing copper mine in the world which probably has more copper is Escondida, and Escondida’s grades are being depleted as it is starting to scrape the barrel. Interestingly, Escondida is the only copper mine in the world run by Rio. If Rio cannot get in the door ...more

Should make clear that existing mines are dealing with Proven & Probable, whereas we are only M&I at this point. However, I do believe there are a lot of unexplored parts of the project, especially on the Canadian Creek side.

Which in the real world is worth nothing or next to nothing.  There could be diamonds under my neighbors fence but that doesn't make his house worth more.

Too complicated bringing in multiple interests for a low grade high cap ex middle of nowhere project.   I highly doubt that scenario

That's the most hilarious thing I've read in a long time...."I'm not trying to be negative". hahahaha... the stocks you pump as 2,3,4,10 baggers....those the market doesn't know all and therefore are not valuing properly. The market cap on those isn't reflected properly and YOU are the one that tells us that. WRN the market knows all and YOU tell us that the market ...more

It's beting honest and realistic.  Tell me exactly what Casino and WRN are "worth" if Rio walks away.  Unless something is developed or bought it is worth exactly nothing.  There's a long long list of "stranded assets" that all looked good on paper in the starry eyes of shareholders that only host moose now.

as predicted, headcase666, has been distracted everybody with his nonsense on Snowfield and has distracted the board.  I've been a PVG shareholder since Snowfield was all they had.  PVG decided that it couldn't be developed as a stand-alone property years ago and has been trying to sell it to SEA ever since.  Casino, on the other hand, clearly can be devloped as a stand ...more
