Newbies on this board

Don't listen to the pumpers. Most of us here have been in this for more than a decade. We have seen this movie many times.  Don't get burned.  And that is coming from someone Thant has along position who stubbornly can't get the stones to sell the little bit I got left.

DB, I've held my piece but now is time to say something once and then drop it. Just need to get something off my chest. First of all, you are a relatively newbie here. You were not the first wave which included Heywood, Grat, and myself. Us first wavers were posting here when it was Western Copper, not Western Copper and Gold, and they were going after the Carmacks Project, not the Casino ...more

Amen Even.  I have admitted my involvement began in 2015.  I am not one of the "early timers" but have been here quite a while.  I, like you, can't imagine anyone who's been here at any point after 2011 that isn't way positive unless they bought high hoping for the quick payoff.

Metal I've addressed your dribble in earlier posts.
Comment by MetalMinded on Aug 29, 2022 1:40pm
Dribble? LOL. You my friend are the one who is losing their behing on an investment.  Perhaps you should be listening more and talking less.

Steve.  I only got snotty with you cause you bought I at over 2 bucks.  I reposted it.  So 4 bagger my )(;:". As for posting here, I assure you I bought at the 4 dollar range in 2010 2011. That was the beginning of the misery.  I only began posting when I got a damn iPhone which my daughter bought me And I grudgingly learned to use at that time.  I've only ever ...more

No, bs, here. I've only spoken the truth. Will not elaborate as I am feeling toxicity. Overall, this is a 4 bagger for me...believe it or not. I nibble a little bit higher the other year expecting a possible break out which obviously didn't happen. But very little compared to my overall investment. I scooped up big on two gigantic drops: Lehman crash and Covid scare. FYI, one year before ...more

At best, based on your own statements DB, you admit to being completely inept at investing.  According to your own statements, you bought in at $4 in 2011 (likely hoping for a quick flip) and have managed since then to miss buying opportunities well under $0.50/share in subsequent years only buying at the high points in those time frames.  Don't be mad at other investors on this ...more

you guys who bought at lower price always laughing at who bought at $4. That means, someone Who bought at $0.38 should laught at others Who bought $0.46. $0.38 is only a relative lower price comparing with $4. It has nothing to with value. Or you should sell at $4 because it seems higher, but you didn't sell, and you guys don't trust techinval analysis. And you guys also bought a little ...more

Says the guy who puts diamond in their name to give an impression but behaves nothing like...."I have kept my core holdings"..."what little I have left"..."I trade 100K shares a day and never move the price"...LOL. As Bugs Bunny says..."What a maroon". ‘diamond hands’ refers to someone who has a high-risk tolerance for high volatility stocks or assets that ...more

Ergggghhhhh!!!!! I will try to suspend judgment but it is getting very hard when somebody comes on here and starts trolling and gaslighting. "BS artist" is rather loaded terminology, don't you think? I feel your stress, but please refrain from spreading your toxic vitriol here. Two words of caution: 1. Before you say something, do you really know it's true?, and 2. What will be ...more

Steve I like your analysis from the past.  You are smart and sharp and well versed. I just don't appreciate people who post bs.  I bought in the low 50 and 60 cent range. I've bought at 3 bucks last year. I've sold countless times at more than I bought. The original 2000 shares MY broker told me to buy originally at just over 4 bucks in 2010 2011 was based on a takeover that ...more

Just being honest, if you are this emotional in general and specifically over $8000 (2000x$4) you should not be investing in this stock.  First rule of investing is that emotions have no place.  Emotions lead to bad decisions.   My responses are not BS, but factual and usually (related to you anyway) in response to your emotional tirade over this stock and how it's not ...more

Right - but metal you would agree emotions can run both ways...and we all need to avoid falling in love with WRN....thinking we know more than the market...to our own peril.... I see both sides here....and definitely feel the frustration from db as logical. at the same time...if you are a Rio shareholder you have similar frustration. I mean after delivery of absolutely amazing dividends over the ...more

Agreed Sooner.  Can't be enamored either.  Investing has to be logical based upon what we know and what we discern with our DD.  We can't be making decisions on emotions (love or frustration) or conspiracy theories regarding the company management. I don't know if it's $6 or not.  I don't know if it's this year or not.  I do know (very strongly ...more
