For what it’s worth

My broker just told me something is imminent.  He said it's done . Their just waiting for the lawyers to prep the docs.  I hope this time he is right.  No details on particulars.

Do you trust / like your broker? ;-) Plus if your broker knows that then a wider group would know that and so on - which should mean much higher trafing volumes than we are seeing. Also if like your broker and he knows someone on the deal team or the lawyers and got it from them. Well that's insider trading - so you may want to delete otherwise he may get in trouble...

leaky pipes... someone call the plumber ... if your broker said this, someone broke a law... simple as that.

The language is colourful. Obviously he has no direct info.  It's his gut telling him that this is done. He said he's basing it on trading patterns, no insider activity, resigning of agreement w rio and he said other intangibles. Perhaps he actually wants to see Casino turn into a producing asset before he's 70.  getting pretty long in the tooth here so I think everyone (except those handful that are willing to wait ...more

That's what I told my broker and he said what you did sooner that this time is different and that he opines it's essentially done given the narrative now as opposed to 12 years ago.  Bring in the lawyers. I said hope your right this time.

I'd love to know how "down 5% on weak volume since last week's PR" amounts to "trading activity indicating deal imminent."  Then again, I'm just dumb retail.

Clarke you ain't dumb. I agree with you. Remember he's a talking head who was wrong 12 years ago. I told him I think the market is voting no deal is imminent.  Where are the institutions? Where are the big fish investors? He sat there with his mouth open. I just shared his opinion that is in line with Steve and sooner and metal and pine etc.  I'm more pragmatic and feel that ...more
