Up 12% on the NYSE and over double the daily volume - at the time of writing,  this is positive - how much of it is economics (lower US inflation), Copper prices rises and the comparatively cheap price of the stock Vs shaping up for a transaction... Until we see sustained upside over the rest of the day and trading days ahead then I will say the former...

Markets appear to be up due to a muted inflation report.  Funny thing is, the #1 indicator of inflation are asset prices (houses, stocks, etc.) which are in a bubble.  You don't have bubbles withouth inflation. Once the market realizes that the interest rates will be raised at least twice more this year and won't be heading back down anytime soon, the party will be over.
