In case you get shut out by a paywall, Rio is agressively coming after copper. Unfortunately, the competitive tension I had hoped from Newmont does not appear to be coming. Let's hope either Rio grasps are true intrinsic value. Agnico Eagle or Kinross could make a bid. The northern porphry straddles WGO claims and is very close to Betty. Due to copyright issues, wary to post on open forum. pm'd the gist. rio is refocussing from steel to copper. Rio's need for copper is much greater than imagined. both Jakob and Barton made comments. no specific mention of casino.

As an aside, baffling that after 27 months, Casino/Rio gets no mention outside of Paul's speaking.  Listened to a podcast the other day, guest was talking up a Major's just announced strategic investment into a junior. 5% stake, 1 year standstill, a scope of work. Neither do I. I think partly jealousy. Used to be neighbors with a professional geologist, Mike, who used to say we were too far off the grid. Mike:s company was focused on Golden Triangle. Never listened to Mike. The answer to the grid problem is closer than we think.
