What an absolute waste of ink ---

Any letter to anyone about YESAB is a waste of ink.

Here's the response i got from John Streicker office. I should have known it would be a waste of ink...and i didn't even use ink!!!! If anyone else has any recommendations, i'd appreciate. I just feel like wasting more ink and can add this boards ink to my message!

"Thank you for reaching out to Minister Streicker and sharing your concerns regarding the YESAB Executive Committee’s decision to further delay issuance of the Environmental and Socio-economic Guidelines for the Casino Mine Project. Your query on YESAB’s views of the extension is better directed to YESAB, specifically the YESAB Executive Committee (Bryony.McIntyre@yesab.ca; Dennis.Nicloux@yesab.ca), Acting Chair (Kirk.Cameron@yesab.ca) and Executive Director (Kent.Bretzlaff@yesab.ca)."

Here's my response to that message

"I will. It appears that YESAB is not accountable to anyone…they can make up their own rules, push timelines without recourse, etc.
In private business, missing deadlines costs companies’ money but I suppose things work differently in government.

Is it best to also reach out to Dan Vandal as the person who appoints the board? Is that who the board is supposed to be accountable to?
Sorry for my ignorance --- you can understand how private investors a total lack of confidence in how the permitting process have governed in the Yukon.

One could easily say this is far from a streamlined and efficient process and should prevent Yukon from being deemed “open for business” from a mining standpoint."

Respectfully, what did you think he'd come back with? "OMG, I didn't realize the permitting board was doing its own thing, I'll get right on this ASAP?" The perils of devolving into Rule by Bureaucracy....

Clarke --- yeah i was ignorant and naive I suppose. I was hoping for something along the lines of.... "Yes we understand your frustration with the process and the inaccuracy being provided from YESAB committee in terms of the project timeline. We too are frustrated that dates are not being hit and are doing what is in our power to push for better planning and execution within YESAB ...more

here's my email to YESAB --- and i copied Dan Vandal. again....probaly a waste of ink --- "Hello YESAB committee, My attempts to get feedback from Ranj Pillai and John Streicker have been redirected directly to you. Clearly I don’t understand all the government bureaucracy within Canada/Yukon on the permitting processes.   I was hoping for some up front and honest feedback on the ...more

Sooner Love your email to the YESAB , It's sad Paul / WRN has no leverage to do much of anything. Frustration with government bureaucracy within Canada/Yukon has put a damper on anyone investing in explorarion and mining anywhere in Canada,, may as well go to Las Vegas with your money and have a good time. Even though the world may need new resources like copper there will be no ...more

Marine - as expected....another response....and another failed attempt to answer any of my questions. I counted 7 questions in my email. 0/7 on the response.    "Thanks for you email. YESAB as an organization remains fully committed to achieving our mandate while ensuring we fulfill our legal obligations as well as our core purpose and values. This commitment includes issuing the ...more

Hi sooner The YESAB should know why their actions (includes issuing the revised Guidelines for the proposed Casino Mine Project, which are now expected by September 15, 2023.) why investors not interested in putting money their projects,,,  stay with Tec and Industrial stocks. Exploration and mining ??? LOL M2

Sooner In your, "response to that message" hits on the core seasons investors have a total lack of confidence in mining and resource stocks. The focus is on tec stocks,, anything other then junior exploration. If I could have seen the markets going forword I would never have involved myself with WRN, 18 years is to long ! I am ready to hit the exit at almost any buyout offer ...more

WRN will finally produced. WRN has no debt. WRN does dilution every year. WRN market capital increase every year even price don't  move. If you can't catch the dilution speed, you will be diluted. Management shares can catch the dilution speed via options granted every year.  Finally even price don't  move for 20 years. Management  still can get big return, they ...more

Coin has 2 sides, Long term share holders always promote stable political environment(low efficiency) and friendly mining policy(politician always speak nice words instead of doing something) comparing 3rd country corruption&unstable political environment. But they never say why major still like to do business in 3rd country. They never know the efficiency of 3rd country. Yukon only has 40k ...more
