Premium ot market cap --- 30-50%....even Paul understands it's ALL about market cap!!!!

You'll have to summarize it for us. I refuse to listen to Crux anymore. It's painful listening to him casually hate Casino, I can't imagine how horrifying it has to be sitting opposite him.  And to think we pay for the pleasure!

Here's my summary: > Paul gives summary of Casino for 8,264th time > Monkey asks about Rio DD and relationship with MMC > Paul explains Rio/MMC status, rights, seems like both parties are happy with results, dotting i's crossing t's, etc > Paul expects something to replace current agreement with RIo

Hi Sooner, we all know when the dust settles on any M&A activity between companies, the market cap of the acquiree matches the agreed upon buyout price tag.  So, the question is does a low market cap cause the seller to accept firesale prices or does shrewd negotiating cause the buyer(s) to bid up the market cap nearer the required asking price? It all boils down to whom has control and

I've said it before and will say it again.  Paul and the HNW investors that hold a large portion expect in the mid $1B range for this.  Things change but Paul himself said no way on $3B,  probably not on $2B.  Someone would be getting a heck of a deal at $1B.  Hence, mid $1B range is the expectation for a sale.  Even at current deflated spot compared to FS base
