18 months to get something concrete on grid. I sat in on Rio Tinto's year end meeting earlier this month. Jakob explicitly said "No grid. No mine" (exact words in reference to another project). He said a grid agreement will need to be in place to greenlight a project. 18 months and counting. Ranj appears in our court. The clock is ticking.

No mine" " Developing the Casino Project, located in the Yukon Territory is like developing a mine in a "third world country", you need infrastructure ! This is one of the reasons we are trading at a low valuation,, 18 mo, "infrastructure" this could take another 5 yrs for Rio to be happy

Marine, I get what you are saying. I think they will need a definite agreement in place for the grid. The building of the infrastructure will take time. Mark Davies discussed using bio-desiel until the grid gets built regarding the other project. Believe that's the plan for Casino, too. Start with desiel, but they will definitely want to ween off desiel.

Or maybe someone else takes it out while Rio waits for the project to be shovel ready including grid power. Or perhaps all they need is commitment that it will happen. The closer we get to that point the more valuable we are and the greater likelihood of competitive bids.

Pingrove   That's what I am hopping for,   "someone else takes it out while Rio waits for the project to be shovel ready including grid power."   This is why Paul is holding Rio to under 10%,, all it would take is someone coming in with a low ball bid to get something going.(Bidding War) MM Metals willing to work with most anyone who is interested in
