I said Paul was just a stupid donkey.

Long time ago. I said Paul was just a stupid donkey...

I disagree. Paul is a good geologist.  But he's in a role that doesn't fit his skills or abilities.  He's not a strong public speaker.  He's not a good negotiator.  He's not a good communicator overall.  He not good at understanding how to build shareholder value.  All of those are necessary in the role of CEO or president.  He's been the ...more

Metal. You never complain on management.  You always defend them. You take everything what they throw to you. You are a good person but not qualified  investor.

And same to  those who press like button.

Did you actually read my comment?  There are several statements about Paul personal limitations related to the position he holds.  And, I beg to differ, but my portfolio seems to say I do pretty well at investing, which is why I don't panic and complain constantly here like those that hung their life hopes and expectations on the success of WRN on some personally required timeline. & ...more

You are much like Paul....when we were down to like $1.2 USD (from high of like $2.8 USD) where he responds to question about how far down we are and not such great return and he responds "well yeah but it depends upon when you bought!". What a stupid response. MANY people are not so smart as you and bought at like $0.3....the vast majority of those have sold i suspect and instead MANY ...more

LOL, don't be mad at me if you feel like you made a bad investment decision(s).

But you are right in this.  I had added just shy of 100k shares prior to the run-up in 2017 and the average cost basis of those shares was roughly $0.30/share US.  In 2017, I sold somewhere between 1/4-1/3 of those shares essentially making the remainder free.  I've added quite a bit to that postion since then at various levels and have an average cost basis just over $0.80 ...more

Well-articulated, MM. I, too, agree with Paul having strengths and weaknesses. Also, Paul was wearing multiple hats, in fact, too many hats. For the past few years, it may have been necessary to keep things down. Anyway, in the last Crux interview, it was clear Paul was beaten and worn out. But, yes, Paul has made some faux pas in interviews. You, definitely, don't want someone doing that in ...more

Of course - I am NOT of the camp that believes Paul purposefully draggng this out and doing anything "wrong".  I believe him to be ethical and honest --- as WRN goes up ....he makes money...as it goes down he feels the loss. Even someone with the best intentions --- if they don't have the skill set is not going to succeed. I mean i'd to be a major league pitcher...and ...more

We are both aligned in that this is trading way below where it should be.  Sadly, the market is fickle and not interested in junior mining at all right now.  Hopefully the world economy and China improve soon and optimism for Copper and Gold will go up driving interest in Juniors again.   FYI, I was dumb enough to be pretty heavily in Pebble (NAK) too.  Luckily l, I had a ...more
