Sooner asking a friend. Ok - i don't follow tick by tick stock prices...but how does WRN go from $1.27 USD to $1.23 on such little volume on from 4PM - 8PM on Friday?

here's what i'm showing for the last trades at the close. How does this translate to a close of $1.23????

Steve - appreciate it but that doesn't help much. Of course i understand most of that but it doesn't really answer my point.

I understand what you're asking - the transactions in the US market on 3/1 all appear to occur at 1.27 or 1.28. No transactions in the final minute leading up to 4:00pm at 1.23 When I look at my position, the only thing it says is "Last 1.23" but in the itemized detail, no transaction at that price. And, by definition, that is the Closing price for the day, and that rolls up into ...more

Yep. copper & gold - that's my question. How can closing price be $1.23 looking at all the discrete trades? I mean perhaps if they cherry pick the 1 (yes i show ONE) share traded at $1.24 at 6:45PM ????
