Cyanide

VG's Eagle Mine landslide/spill... cyanide at 8 times legal  limit leaked into one creek near Mayo. Juniors do not have the means to do it the right way and cut corners in one of two ways: 1. not ensuring safeguards at the start, and 2. pushing limits for profit afterward. For well over a decade, both WRN and Casino have labored over doing it the right way, even though progress goes at a snails pace. Eventually, we got buy ins from Rio and MM: two companies that can afford to do it the right way. At this stage, IMO, Tara is much more a liability than an asset. Her personal vested interests are in Banyan anyway. I think the time has come to ask Tara to step aside. I don't think John M deliberately did anything wrong. But he lacked foresight and lacking foresight equals negligence. WRN needs to set itself apart from the riff raff.

Bang on, Steve. Time for people to accept larger Capex projects - both move the supply needle and can be built/operated safely by majors. And time for Tara to step aside. No obvious benefit to her being on our board. She's a founding member of YESAB, yet we're continuously jerked around in permitting. Now her livelihood is solely tied to Victoria/Banyan?
