National Bank Financial Upgrade to Strong Buy

Western Copper and Gold (TSE:WRN) Upgraded to Strong-Buy at National Bank Financial

October 2, 2024

Western Copper and Gold (TSE:WRN) NYSE: WRN was upgraded by research analysts at National Bank Financial to a "strong-buy" rating.

A number of other equities research analysts have also commented on the company. Eight Capital set a C$4.25 price target on Western Copper and Gold and gave the company a "buy" rating in a research report back in June.

So, Eight Capital has set a target of C$4.25 and HC Wainwright has set a target of well over C$5.00 (I can't remember the exact amount...I posted about a week ago).

Eight Capital, National Bank Financial, Haywood Securities, and HC Wainwright are all a part of the conglomerate that made the $46M placement in April.

Something is up.

They have the right to buy up to 15% Firm in public market. If they do, this tightens the wrench. Makes money for both High Networth Investors and regular shareholders, too.

I like it.

Eight Capital bought 75,000 on Thursday. Seller was also Eight Capital. Not sure what that means. Assume that are selling from their inventory to a client of theirs. Also a good sign.
