According to Dredge Yard out of the Netherlands, it looks like Western Potash is setting up to harvest their crystalization ponds which could create much needed revenue from potash sales

I wonder why no news and these guys are working quietly.   How much did this dredger cost. This is good news and project moving forward.

Bmw, it is definately a smaller dredge due to its custom application, but it would not have been cheap. The requirements needed for Westerns crystallization pond would have demanded a very specific build and likey why the retractable planks on each side of the vessel, and the small electric motor fits in well with promoting the green factor of the project.  This was an article from October ...more

Bmw, unfortunately it doesnt change their financial position as there is a lot of money owing / outstanding to contractors. I agree that taking delivery of a dredge is promising, but that is just one piece of the process puzzle to fulfilling the offtake agreement with ADM The remaining processing still relies on expensive equipment to get to the finish line.  Maybe it can be rented until ...more
