Reminder for expiry of Goldcorp's offer - what will happen

here is the news published on stockhouse: https://www.stockhouse.com/news/press-releases/2017/05/23/goldcorp-s-offer-for-outstanding-shares-of-exeter-upcoming-expiry-reminder What will happen after expiry of the offer? Well, if GG has been able to attract offers of more than 66.66% of the outstanding amount the take-over will most likely be progressing (note, they have left a door open if they have received offers for over 50%). If less than 66.66% (50% respectively) have offered, GG has two choices: either walk away from the deal which however is required for their deal with Barrick to consolidate Cerro Casale with Caspiche (which is IMHO less likely) or they will extend the offer with a higher price tag. As Sun Valley as major shareholder of XRA has bought into XRA after the announcment of the offer, my take is that they will not be offering their shares to GG at least not under the current offer.

At least I will not offer my shares to GG for the time being but will wait for an increased offer.

I agree. This offer was quite low for the massive resource XRA controls.
