NEWS!!! ...on we go...

XS TECHNOLOGIES INC ("XST-V") - Mobiletrac to Track BMWs in Australia J-Trac Ply Ltd., XS Technologies' ("XST") Australian distributor, is installing a GSM 900 MobileTrac system into World Care, a national Australian call centre. World Care's Australian operations are similar to the Canadian Automobile Association's as they provide roadside assistance on a national level and have as their customers, many of Australia's largest automobile manufacturers. A respected and long-standing company, World Care will test the MobileTrac system in BMW's corporate vehicles as well as in their own fleet over the 90-day period. MobileTrac was chosen after considering three other tracking systems, including an Australian supplier. Upon completion of the trial, World Care will begin placing orders for up to 2,000 vehicle tracking units over a period of 24 months. This contract is one of many being negotiated by J-Trac in Australia. The World Care project is expected to bring in up to $1.5 million USD in revenues for XS Technologies. XST, formally EnviroTrac Technologies, designs and manufactures MobileTrac, a GPS-based tracking product line capable of tracking assets in all corners of the world using existing communications infrastructures. XST's first system was deployed in the Bahamas in 1996 and since then, systems have been set up in Uruguay, Honduras, Ivory Coast, Taiwan and Australia. XST will be launching its consumer and commercial products nationally in 2000. TEL: (403) 571-8722 XS Technologies Inc.
