PRESS RELEASE

AUSTRALIAN SYSTEM ACES TRIAL CDNX: XST For Immediate Release Calgary, June 7, 2000 As XS Technologies (“XST”) continues to leverage its resilient GPS tracking technology in new markets, including its pending launch in Canada, President John Way is pleased to report the very positive feedback received from the World Care group in Australia. World Care is the Australian equivalent to the Canadian Automobile Association and is currently field-testing XST’s MobileTrac system (announced April 6th, 2000). World Care provides nation-wide roadside assistance through its large fleet of service vehicles. Corporate clients include many multi-national companies, including BMW. MobileTrac is currently tracking BMWs at the World Care site. In a testament to the system’s capability, MobileTrac was chosen by World Care after it considered several other tracking systems, including an Australian-designed one. Upon completion of the trial World Care will begin placing orders for up to 2,000 vehicle tracking units. This is a single contract valued at $1.5 million US. XST’s Australian distributor, J-Trac International Pty Ltd. is working on several other prominent contracts which should be announced shortly. XST, formally EnviroTrac Technologies, designs, manufactures, sells and services MobileTrac, a GPS-based tracking system capable of monitoring assets throughout the world. XST first deployed their technology in the Bahamas in 1996 and today, systems are installed in Uruguay, Honduras, Ivory Coast, Taiwan and Australia. XST will be launching its consumer and commercial products in Canada in 2000. -30- For further information, contact: John Way President, XS Technologies at (403) 571-8722 THE CANADIAN VENTURE EXCHANGE HAS NOT REVIEWED AND DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ADEQUACY OR ACCURACY OF THIS RELEASE.
