New patent pending

So PAT filed a new patent application 6-7 months ago and it got published a few weeks back in December. I have not checked for a while so I missed the patent pending until now. It seems that the patent is based on, and an extension of, the Quasar patent that PAT has exclusive rights on in perpetuity.

Some highlights of the claims are:

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the system comprises an artificial intelligence or machine learning module in the processor to improve identification of the magnetized object based on the characteristic waveforms created by the magnetized object.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the rigid framework of the sensing structure hides the number, location, and orientation of the magnetic sensors such that the screening area for detection of subjects with magnetized objects passing by is covert

6. The system of claim 1, further comprising a video camera for capturing an image or video of a subject with the magnetized object passing through the screening area to assist the system with discriminating whether the magnetized object is a threat.

And so on. Maybe this has been a hold-up for sales and they've waited for the application to be accepted and published? Since a patent pending gives protection.

Anyway, exciting times. GL to all longs!

Ehh what? Yes, this patent is for MSG, formerly known as TMS. CMR is already patented by Dr. Nikolova, see e.g.: https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=EP154235235&tab=NATIONALBIBLIO I know you're just a pancake guy but damn, u stupid. Anyway, so now PAT owns their own IP and has CMR IP licensed.

That's their game don't follow, they thrive in ambiguity. They assume many won't put the effort into the dd or fully comprehend it.

Ted, Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, The name used is Patriot One DETECTION Technologies Inc which shows no connection to you and it's address is that of Tom Ridges Company. Also, the inventors Yongming Zhang and Tom Dickey also do not have any connection to you. I sure hope you don't think that is insignificant or a mistake? Do you ever wish that the day would come ...more

the name Patriot One DetectionTechnologies was a registered lobby for Patriot One at the time when that patent was filed (08.06.2020). The lobby was terminated by Paul Borcelli, Nov. 13, 2020  right around the time he says he was no longer working/ employed with Patriot One.  Interestingly since NOv. 2020 Paul Borcelli lists himself as a self- employed  U.S. Lobbyist; wow 12 ...more

Eh what? Maybe because Patriot One Detection Technologies is a subsidiary of PAT, registered in Colorado? Which is stated in every quarterly report since years back? "As at October 31, 2020, the Company had five wholly-owned subsidiaries, Patriot One Detection Ltd., a limited company incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada, Patriot One (UK) Limited, a limited company ...more
