On the surface, having PAT discussed on the floor of parliment MAY sound like a big deal ...but... don't get too far ahead of yourself.   Patty-cake and beastieboy are probably on their way to parliment right now to tell them about bogus FCC approval, better competetors, and as we've all heard.... they both have VERY convincing arguments.   besides, theres no way Parliment is ...more

@Vesmic1: Ameen to that.
Comment by vezmic1 on Feb 05, 2022 8:34am
How did parliment even hear about PAT?  Maybe they read about it in the latest edition of 'BOGUS-tech-monthly'? Probably the US federal Government OIG has a subscription also? Not as if you could possibly lobby this sort of thing. European Union next?  Middle east?   ...i suspect thats probably a next-horizon sort of thing.  Once the US feds go all in, it's going ...more

The speaker made a comment that got my full attention. He commented that the use " radar " to identify gun ...... Does he know something that we don't know? Is the MacMaster technology about to resurface with Pat? I am scratching my head like crazy on that comment.

Maybe PAT has a mole in the Canadian Government. He does seem to know more about the tech than the average MP.

Super borring, not to mention all the big-words you probably can't comprehend.   Teddy has always been a soft basher.

I just find it puzzling that someone using a subject line that says "Go to about 12:27 of this session of Parliament (Canada)" then says "I can't find it". :-))

TedOrlow: at about 12:27 min mark? It's pretty boring until then.

Sounded to me he was grasping for a definition for a tech that he didn't have intimate knowledge of. Most laymen will reach for generalized terms when they don't know specifics. Weapons detection= radar. Still, great to see a shout out for Pat on Parliament Hill. All IMO

This might be a good question for Friday's Webinar. Is the radar tech back on the table?
Comment by mrpancake on Feb 05, 2022 3:33pm
As a member of the standing committee on public safety its Dane Lloyd job to critique the government on safety issues. He asked if liberal gov’t members of the committee had ever heard about Patriot One and its technology... the answer was NO ... he mentioned the word “RADAR” and many of you use this to boaster your confirmation bias regarding the company and your investment; in other words even ...more
