You raise a great point:
The federal government involvement is HUGE. Why? Well once PAT is proven in one federal department theres no reason to believe why they WOULDN’T be a shoe-in for all the others. Once its all in place with a proven track record there is NO reason why the Government Accountability Office (GAO) ... Dept of Defense (DOD)... etc ... etc shouldn't follow.
It’s hard to know why one fed department would want PAT and not all the rest. Especially once its passed the scrutiny of the department in charge of preventing fraud, waste, etc.
Same story with the Casinos. PAT starts out in a Casino in the early days (remember that nut-job responsible for the biggest mass shooting in US history? Happend at a Casino in Vegas where PAT was involved with ... a different Casino.
Imagine PAT had prevented that tragedy?
Anyway now we hear about PAT being rolled out in... you guessed it, a Casino.
