@Plisken, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those big buys yesterday (4 over 125k shares- 1 being over 225k shares) were  possibly from institutional investors. At the very least, they were folks who were anticipating something today. If so, imagine their surprise. Its like we are deliberately scaring folks away. Mystifying.
Comment by Oliver5800 on Feb 15, 2024 2:11pm
They were all institutional! Tell tale sign, bigger than normal volume with very minimal price change. Also they weren't buying for that news release, their buying for the story & trust in the ceo.  I'm not going to say what i heard in that interview because I'm in the process of buying at current levels. I will say listen to it again, around the 4min mark, Peter talked future ...more

So can you explain the timing? 900k in shares traded the day before a very significant application is launched. And today we are sitting at 43k shares traded. If these were institutional buys-through different brokers on different exchanges, I might add- why was it done on one day only? Too much of a coincidence, IMO.

@nightstocker  dude basically outed himself..  if guys don't see it by now.. Check your pulse..  I was just sitting back watching it like yup.. .. I knew it..  all my personal opinion do your own due diligence

They have their set buy range. They may they may not of known that news was coming out. I assume they did. Don't know how retail will react, if they react crazy, good for intitution. They are buying and selling all day everyday. (Not necessarily extract). If they get the opportunity to sell some to take capitol off table, they do. Nothing like having a 100k shares end of day for free ...more

Those buys were all at .70. That range has been around nearly every day for the past several weeks. We were at .67 two weeks ago. So I don't buy that all four investors chose yesterday because of buy range.

@ nightstocker.. got guys coming out the woodwork now trying to "explain" what we just saw .. LMAO hey nightstocker.. check that guys post history..  Where in the blue blazes did he come from?? HAHAHAHA....  I told you guys smh.. all my personal opinion do your own due diligence

Actually Plisken I've been watching this board a lot longer than you or anyone else can imagine. I watch it generally speaking for the comedy. When I'm  having not so good a day it's nice to look at stuff that makes me laugh. With that being said why aren't you running your own brokerage?
Comment by Nightstocker on Feb 15, 2024 3:04pm
You've been on SH for 18 months and your first 3 posts are today. Flattered that we were the ones to drive you out of your silence. Doesnt go a long way toward proving you've necessarily following Xtract with great interest...
Comment by Oliver5800 on Feb 15, 2024 3:18pm
I've been following them since shortly after the reverse takeover. I don't see the point in commenting on a board that has some people that think they know everything. It's common knowledge when institutional investers do buys, half their job is making sure there isn't a big move on the price that day. They don't put in "market orders". Ok, Plisken If you want to possibly share info on an open forum on stockhouse, that's good! If you want to criticize people just because they don't feel like spending valuable time on here, then that's your problem. I don't have the time, desire or patience! I will be the first one to admit when wrong, but generally speaking I'm a person of few words but i won't put up with ...more

@oliver well if read this forum like you say you do.. you'd see that my comments are about the stock performance or why I feel there is no movement.. which then gets attacked.. to which I defend.. that's not gonna stop.. like I said.. everyone is entitled to an opinion but if you come at me personally.. @Plisken I agree, the stock is not anywhere where any of us would like it to be. I have no idea how old you are, it doesn't matter. This isn't 1999 where any stock with .com behind it shoots up to $200 in a day. It also means that retail investors aren't jumping out of buildings because they lost everything! Cronin turned out to be running a 3 ring circus, Peter has turned that around. ...more

I believe now that Xtract has established its bona fides (proven product, revenue growth, financial stability, future scalability) a clock has been started in which the share price, logically, will be expected to catch up to its other advances. Xtract will be held to a high standard going forward, which may include uncomfortable questions from investors the longer the disparity continues to exist ...more

100% that is why their starting to give guidance, so people can figure out what their worth. With the financials coming out next month will see what happens. Their right near where their worth right now. If they come out with good numbers with guidance, could see a nice small pop. The old saying for ceo's is look after the fundamentals and the stock will take care of itself.
Comment by NycPlisken on Feb 15, 2024 4:53pm
@oliver we're just asking for the price to be congruent with value.. we shouldn't have NR's that have a negative affect on share price.. nobody is disagreeing with the progress..  but we make money off share price and volatility.. this stock has been defying logical increase for a while now and doesn't appear to bother management. now it's not his job to tell me how ...more

The shares are about where there worth as of right now. If they came out with guidance saying that their going to double their current income on the next financial release  you might see the price bump before the release. When the actual fimancials come out you may see a pull back.(sell  on news). Peters got us where were debt free, increasing partners and coming up with new products to ...more

@plisken You touched on a few things there, i don't have enough time to touch on everything at length. Just remember the story of the turtle and the hare. @oliver I've had this for 6 years im not a day trader.. my point is the concept of being long isn't the same anymore.. there isn't much stability in the world anymore.. markets are the first thing to go in unstable times.. money needs to be available in all of its potential so people have options and micro options to move thier money around based on current events ...more

@Plisken this Will be my last post on this, on this board. We don't need to monopolize. I agree with you in regards to this not being the same as it was pre 2000. @Oliver, I don't think $400 or $500 would have been too much for an NR regarding the new X1 View platform. Not if you do 4 NRs for the OTC top 50 in 2023 and 2024. Might as well have spent that money on drink umbrellas. View is a next level addition to the Smart Gateway. @ nightstocker There's a lot of investors that won't even look at anything on the otc. Putting out that top 50 will get to whomever will consider the otc. Until such time that we graduate to the bigger board marketing will only go so far. I'll be clear here, i don't advocate for reverse splits to achieve this, just look at what muln has achieved by doing this. I agree 100% in ...more

Agree on the reverse splits and the underwhelming OTC. As has been said by myself and many others on this board, perhaps there is some brilliant reason Xtract is holding back on promoting Xtract in wider circles; perhaps a full court press when/if DHS ever happens. Until then, many of us will continue to scratch our heads.

@nightstocker I'm not saying it wasn't insiders (being mgt.) But it had the hallmarks of institutions. Can you imagine the questions if mgt. bought, put out news following day & the volume shoots up with price increase?

@Oliver, I have to disagree that the share price is proportionate right now. Nightstocker I personally don't put a lot of weight into what news companies give for financial advice. Their business is making news. It's only going to get worse with AI as well.  At the end of the day, it's the numbers that count.  Before that article came out xtract had revenue of roughly 800k in the previous 2q.
