XTRA Takeover by EVLV ... ???

This, what surely looks like an expensive “fix”, not a solution to technological shortcomings suggests that EVLV is nowhere close to matching or exceeding XTRA’s technology. This, IMHO,  makes them more dangerous in terms of taking a run at XTRA. Given their financial backers, they could very likely raise the funds for a buyout at, let’s say, $1/share which may just be enough to get XTRA’s shareholders approval.

Dunno but msg being happy on 30% premium. Dont think so. If offered 5+ now I would consider. Anycase how convenient when evolv makes this safe the existing customers move product wise and we are back in 500 stock sales. Cant mgmt really so anything on this matter.

I think Xtract has too many long shareholders (not to mention board members) who have too many shares/options above $1 from the bad old days.  Very confident it would be voted down convincingly. Unless, of course, Evolv compensates the board and CEO through special incentives ( i.e. granting $4 Evolv options).  I don't think you would see any support  from shareholders ...more

Is it really worth their effort ? It would be more of a distraction than a benefit.

It's pretty clear Evolv is flailing. They have just rolled out a product that is basically a glorified airport bag scanner.  Bill Gates, Evolv's most prominent stakeholder, has made a career of absorbing better tech rather than compete against it. Deal rationally with facts, or be blocked for the pro-Evolv basher you seem to have been labelled.
