Certification process and first sales

On December 6 conference call, this is what Evans was mentionning. 

"One Gateway has neared the end of its certification process, and we are now working through the manufacturing processes with the objective to begin shipping in mid-to-end of calendar Q1, as we had previously announced."

Did certification started 18 months ago ?  Can you rush this manufacturing process prior certification ?  I want Xtract to sell this as soon as possible, seems to me that they are doing fine.

No its the UL certification he is referring and I dont think they started the process until it went thru the internal testing and product reveal few months ago this in beta stage. Not sure but I dont think they can manufacture let alone ship before cert. Having said that we should have an avalanche of orders lining up as its "game changer" so far we heard about one and they went with

Evans was asked this qustion about manufacturing before certification and he answered No. This is normal : any changes required for certification would lead to some retrofit, a potentially costly manoeuver.    Nope, you wait for the final product and then you manufacture. The target market : schools.   You will have no school board commiting to a product prior to certification

Does not matter about budgeting manufacturing or the like.. Evans can not justify the salary he is taking for the work he is doing.. he doesn't explain anything and his entire management term has been trial and error.. he scoffed at going after schools for years .. the schools had to reach out to HIM ..  now all of a sudden they are a priority and we have to do this and that.. please.

And you know.. it would be different if he was just this humble type of guy.. honest about his mistakes.. and open and engaging with his shareholders.. and taking a salary that ACTUALLY reflects what he has been doing.. which isn't much..  we actually sent him emails about advertising and going after schools pretty early on.. we were right.. he was completely dismissive and

Totally agree sometimes I believe I live in a country of fools where the more useless you are the higher the rewards
