Kav's June Production Estimate

I got 11,200-11,300 boe for June.  Oil remained flat from May but NG looks to have went up 400-500 BOE from May.  YGR's June NG production was highest in at least 15 months on NG side. Be years since this level.

For Q2 overall I would estimate 11.1-11.2k boe.  (Plus minues 300 boe each way)

I am happy with progress here.  Q1 was 10k boe...gained at least 1000 boe in Q2.

Hopefully can continue with 1k boe a Q increase , and average 12k in Q3 and 13k in Q4.

the missing blank numbers was didnt save:

The other really encouraging thing is 4 new cheddarville wells (drilled in april/ may) contributed basically nothing to june production numbers...and one caroline well also didnt.  As inplayoil and obsidian have stated...june was extremly wet in that area of alberta. July should have 4 new well cheddarville, 1 in caroline should be rolling and 3 well pad in Ferrier. Plus 4 well pad in ...more

The   bears ( shorts)  will   likely  point  out  pro forma   production  re  2nd   Q  is  below  guidance  although  $$  receipts   and   cash   flow   should  be  good  re high prices.

Thanks Man! I'm most interested in the 3 ferrier wells drilled prior to moving back to the 14 pad in west ferrier... You are right they should be on soon. I saw IPO's notes on trucking, YGR maybe had the same issue, maybe not. I thought June boe/d might have been higher than your estimate, possible it was but couldn't get to the terminal? Who wants to bet me that YGR makes more ...more

Hmm tough bet. Lower production but higher oil cut should give the edge to IPO. YGR also hedged a bit of gas at 4.50.  Didnt see IPO's financial numbers just production updates.

No Fins yet from either. Thought it might be fun as they should be quite close, as you mentioned higher oil cut with IPO. BUT I think this is the best way to judge who the better operators are. YGR should,as they have in the past be the more effecient operator and post higher income line.. We will see...

YGR and IPO business approach is so different, IPO get's new drilling opportunties through buying land with existing wells on it with both priaire storm and how they got Pembina land was from ARC selling.   YGR seems very skilled at using land sales to buy virgin land.  Advantage of growing through land sales in gov auction is not taking on any old well bores or reclaimation ...more

Got   PIL   at   1.68  per large   can    at    NO  FRILLS (Loblaws)  cheaper  than the   BEER  STORE .  Seems   to   be  sold   as   a discount  brand   here  in Ontario.

Supercans is what we all them in AB.. Hahaha Actually the pil is altogether different can vs bottle. We drink bottles. Best beer going..   I don't think it's quite as cheap here- more of a midrange tending to the cheapside.. A Ok with me...!

Nice to hear they are back in Chedderville. Sure had some boomers in there.  The drilling plan really makes a lot of sense this year both for cash flow and production growth. No window dressing with these guys now. Production was stabilized with solid Ferrier wells in the winter and now the chedder wells should nail down the exit rates in a good market   Wish they would get the oil ...more
