DUCs

I see teh 6 DUC now on PN.

Sioemn of them were spud in early Nov.

Any reason why they didn't tie these ones in by now?

Seems like they drilled 3 per month (Nov and Dec) but didn't get any on production.

It's in their latest press release dated Dec 23rd. "The Company will exit 2022 with 6 drilled but uncompleted wells and expects to complete 14 wells in the first quarter of 2023." NPF

Yea I know, but why wait so long to tie in?  Waiting for higher oil prices maybe?

I don't know but with 14 wells to bring on in the first quarter we should have alot of flush production in the first and second quarters. I hope they are liquid rich wells.  NPF

Economic reasons, 6 well pad so it would be more expensive to bring frac crew out and frac 3 wells at a time. Probably the even bigger reason is YGR 3 wells have to get shut in when fracin these 6 wells so they prbably want to do it as fast and organized as possible....water ready etc and hammer all 6. It also was extremly cold in Alberta in December for some days. Be freeze offs and slow going ...more
