Nasty. The very next post by him has NBF ranking YGR dead last in their free cash flow coverage at about 4%. Fugly. How can a bank put out a 4.00 target - 60% upside - and then rank the company dead last. I wonder if it has something to do with their credit syndicate with YGR? https://twitter.com/emmpeethree1/status/1618990187186655235/photo/1 I was looking through their old quarterly reports - ...more

I took a look at that chart. To me it's non-sense. EV/DACF YGR is best value (of the co's shown) the right hand side of the chart, clearly is above my head. I don't know what that represents.  Thanks for posting it anyways.  The drillling results are what I have been whining about too. So far I don't know why the results lag the pre 2019 wells so much. Like Kav said, it ...more

The free cash flow models are a bit different. depends on assumptions so it can vary widely. i used to really like these guys for drilling big interesting wells that got a lot of attention. Looks like the acreage wasn't consistent. hope the new area is better. I remember a few analysts losing their minds on the size of the cap costs on the last facility being a 30 million dollar surprise ...more

Just as a FYI the chart is being misread. The bar chart is the CF to EV ratio (lower is better) of which YGR is the best. The FCF is the diamond of which YGR is average to good (around 20%)... this chart is before YGR dropped 30% so FCF yield is higher now. Predicted at 27% on the link shown now.

Flush11..I mean Rex (you are obviously same person) did you pull Q1 2016? YGR was at 3100 BOE in Q1 2016. YGR grew like 9000 BOE over the years all through drill bit, without issuing equity, navigating sub 2 dollar NG prices at times during these years, and having to build gas plants and infrastructure from scratch...to only have 135m debt at end of 2022. Nobody else in Cardium did this. OBE ...more

Yes. Same person. Ipad for rex, laptop for flush. issue with passwords. Mentioned before. yes looked at 2016.  That was when I bought ygr. 7 years ago now Kav and I think? The point was ZERO growth in 4+ years. for an exploration/growth company... Now they finally might have something that could be interesting from a new area but another gas plant plus an expansion is needed now ...more

Kavern do you own any YGR right now? You mentioned selling all of your stock at one point.

I don't own anything right now, being patient.   I would rather buy stocks after oil dips and the EIA weekly oil inventory data is brutal every week so far in 2023. USA increased their money supply hard during covid, this has contributed still to frothness and speculation.   NG is down 8 percent today after being up yesterday over 4%. Big casino right now. I want to have ...more

Rex, these hedge fund and large money specualtors can cause disasters. All they did by driving NG over 5.50 for all of the fall was unleash a pile of supply. So harmful. Doing the same s*t with oil, by driving oil up they are going to get more supply unlocked then necessary. Sucks

I only have a few shares left in my wife's account otherwise out of YGR. Had a brief trade around Q3 but sold quickly.  Used the proceeds last year to trade between obe and bne. had a decent year even though I wound up over weight bne (which I still have) and a little BTE. Moving up market to the mid caps so I can spend less time on it.  I think lithium is at the start of ...more
