Cliff did you notice...

Did you notice something wierd on an old willygreen well drilled August 2017...the well was doing like 10 barrels a day most months in 2022 and 100 mcf of gas...about right.
But wierd part is all of a sudden In january of 2023 it did 71 barrels of oil and 1548 mcf a day of ng (massive ng) and really good oil for a 5 year plus well. I thought maybe a mispint but February was same.  Feb this well did 52 barrels of oil a day and 1205 mcf a day of ng.
What the heck.....never seen anything like that before.

Well they really upped the fluid and water injection. I'm no petroleum engineer but could be trying to reoptimize older wells and get a temporary boost to production.

No water injection...where do you see that? I wondering if they have wax problems or frac sand build up. I have heard in northern alberta companies on older wells will get frac sand coming into the tanks in like year 2 or 3, and they have to clean that to get production better again.

Ah yes you are right, I misread. Higher water load recovery...
