OPEC predictions

REX...do you think OPEC stays as a cartel in 2025 or 2026? or infighting takes place and it breaks up.

I think signs point to it eventually disolving the minute world oil demand forecasts go down materially and peak oil demand is here.

UAE wants to raise their productive capability by alot by 2025
Iraq says they can go over 10m a day with investment.
Every middle east producer is talking about increasing their productive capability.

If world demand peaks or even stays flat by 2025....how can all these countries remain realigned when they all have self interest and want to sell more.

OPEC cant cut forever to boost USA, Canada, Norway, Guyana and Brazil.

I think OPEC meetings are really tense right now.  Guyana was invited to join OPEC and said no and they shouldnt.

On this issue I think we are back to the 1970's. Stupid energy politics all over the place with bizarre economic effects - now its climate change but the results are the same. Iraq has been saying the same thing for ten years.  OPEC is producing way under quota because half of their members are in terminal decline.
