The Cdn. $$$ was .74 vs. US . Today it is ..72 a change of 2.70% or more than 30% annulized . This has be a major boost for producers short term at least.

Penny it is bad for oil demand though if USA dollar is so strong compared to most countries currencies. And Canada is in alot of trouble in the fight against infliation and the ability to lower rates in the future with such a terrible Cad dollar. Saudi didnt raise Decemeber oil prices for loading to Asia for first time in 6 months. Such greedy stupidity. isnt enough fear of losing money yet in the market. 2008 had that vibe, everyone c*cky Best glimmer of news is USA consumer had a spending binge to pump GDP but what now....
