Predictions for fun

For fun, and anyone is welcome to add own. These are my merger guesses if commodity prices are not that great over next 6 and 12 months

1 Prairire Provident with either Journey or Pinecliff. Some company affliated with Team Aimco.
Have to be cheap

2. Birchcliff with either CNQ or birchcliff merges with advantage

3. Ygr and Petrus - talked about this enough

4. Strathcona and Kelt.  Dont think strath can handle bigger than this.

5. Paramount and Nuvista. Pou likely bid on hammerhead and would have cash powder if Nuvista ever started to struggle.

Cant think of anything for Vermillion.

I am saying these predictions in context if lower comoddity prices enviro only as that is what will drive things.

6. BNE buy ITE canada assets  I hope YGR doesn't merge with anyone

Looks like BNE hit 5.80...7 days after Q3... But yikes what a day in the markets. Price target for Birchcliff is 4.50 by April 2024. Ygr price target is harder as more closely held and less shares trading.

Kind of great news for comapnies that are buying back lots of shares. Unsure how YGR is doing in that aspect, but hopefully companies like BTE, CPG and others that have been beaten up are taking advantage of the swoon.
