I bought a bunch more today after selling some last week. I don't take the current malaise very seriously. There is no institutional interest in small cap oil and gas. That isn't t likely to change in the short run. I am in this for the long run as it's th cheapest in the sector on a number of measures. Natural gas prices should recover at some point and when they do this has plenty of ...more

The problem is how much can we trust the management. Will they deliver as promised? 2023 everything is messed up and they blamed it on weather.

I think capital return any time this year is not in the cards. We would need to see free cash flow around  $35M just to get us to the $80M net debt target. So unless something major happens with commodity prices it wil be 2025 before we see anything like an NCIB or divi.  Will be interested to see what they plan for capital spend in 2024. That will provide some clarity on FCF scenarios. ...more

AECO spot prices should hit at least hit over 2.50 by Thursday. Bonterra used 2.50 a gigajoule as 2024 assumption and interesting to see the price YGR uses in assumptions. I think some hedge prices will not move up that easily as companies will hedge quite hard any time Aeco goes near 2.25 in summer months putting downward capping pressure on prices.
