Feb Estimate

I pulled for YGR, Petrus, OBE, BNE, IPO ,Highwood, Entrada

Stopping at YGR right now.

February numbers look really strong compared to January or really most months in 2023...but I don't know YGR's ownership of those two wells in Ferrier that were in that hot spot.

Those two wells came on so strong on oil.

But does YGR own 50% or 60% or 80%....so I wouldnt make a corp estimate...but things definitely back on track with completions.

Belly river was close to 200 a day but still dont know hours so could be more than 200 a day if ran less than calendar month.

Other chambers well tied in Jan is doing 142 on oil.

But those two ferrier wells looks like boomers...500 on oil a day easily.

If those other six in march tie in nicely, things are looking up here porduction wise.

I think NG is down abit I forget Jans but sure it is alittle...but who cares...oil is very good from Jan...I get by 1300 barrels of oil a day but key but...some JV that has to be taken from but even still should be 800 easily up on oil over Jan.   Encouraging.

The two wells look better than even Taqa right beside. One looks to be at 900 barrels a day over 24 days and other 636 a day over 22 days. Each of these wells should produce 100k barrels each over next 12 months. Very much needed hit.

Thanks Kav. 4 / 4 very successful wells for company in 2024. Kind of crazy that 4 wells match what they did in oil corporately for Q4.  Finally a quarterly release that will be viewed positively.. Q1 release cannot come soon enough.  This high grading of drilling locations is great.

Any idea what the entrada wells are doing? They looked good last year.  might be time to put sciarda on ignore. Douches will douche.

Rex...Entrada doesnt look good and it hasnt for over a year now. IMO they drilled out their hotspots in 2021/22 and now they are drilling on fringes. The water cuts are very high on new wells as well. 65% water on a new well is not good. Entrada has two 2024 wells that will likely be going in March and it is trouble if they dont hit. Be like Prairie Storm all over when IPO got them These are ...more

These are top 10 oil wells out of YGR, IPO, BNE and Entrada. YGR top 2 wells are over full month instead of per day...as well as 2 BNE wells are about 2/3 of a month online so they would be higher than assuming a full 29 day month...but get idea. Are you suggesting that YGR is pulling a rabbit out of their hat with a few boomer oil wells this spring? It only took IPO to drill half a dozen strong oil wells to fix their balance sheet coming out of covid. It was a small property they acquired and drilled out of there core area then. They have done a lot in the 4 years since obviously but really that was the catalyst that finally got them ...more

Rex the quality on the belly River really varies depending where in central Alberta. The belly in Ferrier (Ygr, Taqa) and Willy (Highwood) then Pembina ipo s drilling. big draw is the oil content and downside seems to be can get water cuts that are high, reserves are lower per well in eastern central Alberta,  Because is mostly pools I think develop will be off of lease sites searching ...more
